Everything has been carefully chosen to help you go from a piece of clay to a finished piece of silver jewellery.

You’ll also need

🔥 Butane gas: Gas is not included with this kit. Under UK requirements, the torch and gas are supplied separately. Please purchase compatible butane gas from a reputable supplier and follow the manufacturer’s safety instructions.

Water: A small amount is used when working with the clay.

 Oil: Olive oil works great for preparing your work surface and tools.

Hair dryer: Optional, but useful if you want to speed up the drying process and complete your project in the same day.

Baking tray: For use as a suitable heat-resistant work surface when preparing your pieces for firing.

Paper and Tape: To prepare your ring mandrel. 

Health & Safety

Working with silver clay and a flame requires care. Please read the safety information provided with your kit and follow the instructions carefully.

For your protection, we recommend using:

-Fire/heat-resistant safety glasses when torch firing

-A suitable dust mask when working with dry silver clay or sanding

Always work in a well-ventilated area, keep flammable materials away from your work area and never leave a lit torch unattended.
